Dry Mouth – Xerostomia
Many common medications have the side effect of causing dry mouth (xerostomia), which can adversely affect oral health. Dry mouth is a recipe for disaster. The holidays are just around the corner and the time to gather with friends and family is nearly upon us. Many of my patients have an affinity to inquire about whitening their teeth around this time of year. They want to look and feel their best around those they love.
